Snapshots - Our weekend

This past weekend I went to our local park for the Waterfront Festival here in Northampton with my husband, closest friends & family. It was all day Saturday and Sunday so we all went together on the Saturday. Then I went by myself to meet Keri-Anne and her family for a couple of hours on the Sunday whilst Paul & my brother Josh went skateboarding. I had the best time with them all and it was so lovely to just sit on blankets, chill out in the sunshine and eat a yummy picnic.

The weather was the hottest we've had for a long time so we wanted to spend as much time outside as possible. The festival had lots of cute stalls under marquees, baked goods, ice cream, fresh pimms, vintage goods such as clothes, old radios, antiques etc. As well as lots of things to do for the kids like a bouncy castle, playground, music to dance to and circus themed activities. My Mum came across a retro radio for a few quid and it was in mint condition so we were able to listen to some music whilst sitting on the grass.

Here are a few snapshots from our weekend -

My friends and I said that we should do more days out like these whilst we have a summer. Sounds like a perfect plan to me!

Have a fab week my dears!

Much love
Lulu xx

    1. A quid is a £1 so I'm not sure what that would be in $ for you?! When we say 'a few quid' we mean only costing a few pounds :) xx
