Day trip to London with Josh & Daisy

Hello dears,

A couple of weeks ago Paul & I took two of my siblings to London for the day, we try and do something with all my siblings at least once a month. London has been on the cards for while now and we finally had time to take them now the kids are on there summer holidays. We planned on going to The Natural History museum first and then head to Covent Garden & Carnaby Street to check out all the shops. The queue time was an hour so we scrapped going into the Natural History and went to The Science museum instead, we spent a couple of hours soaking up all the interesting facts and came across a 7 pawed kitty cat which was weird haha!

After hours of walking round we all got hungry so decided to go for lunch at Nandos, it was Josh and Daisy's first time going there and they were thrilled. They enjoyed their chicken burgers/wings with corn on the cob and garlic bread, followed by bottomless frozen yogurt. Paul & I enjoyed our regular meal of a veggie burger wrap with chips, I just had to try the frozen yogurt and it was by far the best chocolate frozen yogurt I'd ever tasted!!

Once our lunch had settled in our tummies we headed across to Covent Garden to take the kids to see all the shops. First stop was Orbital Comic book store to buy a few comics and Daisy picked up 3 for £1 in the bargain box! She's really getting into her comics now after seeing all of mine & Paul's collection, that was a proud sister moment right there! Josh didn't buy anything but spent ages looking through all The Walking Dead collections and checking out the vinyl toy corner.

We then walked up past China Town & headed round the corner to Forbidden Planet another comic book store which is a lot bigger, after buying a few more comics we decided to see more of Covent Garden stopping to get a Starbucks one last time as that outlet was closing. After looking in Artbox we made our way to Carnaby Street, Josh & Daisy were starting to look tired & it was getting late in the day. Josh & Daisy had a list of shops they wanted to see but they loved Choccy Whoccy Do Dah & Johnny Cupcakes the most! Josh brought a new beanie and a vinyl toy from Johnny Cupcakes which he was very happy with! We had one last stop at Nike Town (to keep Paul happy) before heading back to Euston, Josh had never seen a sports shop so big & enjoyed the Basketball, Skateboarding section.

We were all SO tired by the end from walking around all day and nearly fell asleep on the train home. I cant wait for our next adventure to London with them!

Here's a few pictures from our day -
