New Year Blues // Campbell Crafts Vintage

Happy New Year my loves! Did you all have a fantastic festive Holiday? 2018 is going to be my year, I can just feel it and excited to see what it brings.

If you follow me on Instagram you'll know that I'm going through a pretty stressful time in my life with where we live. It's caused my anxiety to sky rocket but I take it day by day and try so hard to stay positive for our son Grayson.

We decided to create a Go Fund Me page to get some help with funds to move house as soon as we can. The generosity of strangers and friends makes us so incredibly grateful. We still have a way to go to hit target but we'll get there! If you wish to donate click here.

Grayson was definitely the highlight of my year and I'm truly grateful I get him for keeps. He turns 1 in 20 days and I'm not ready for it! My baby is growing up far too quickly but at the same time I'm excited for what adventures we'll have.

Outfit Details
Diner dress & Mak Sweater cropped cardigan both available at Campbell Crafts // Blue velvet belt: Taken from a Collectif dress // Snowflake brooch: Christmas gift a few years ago // Boots: Hush Puppies old ones // Hair flower: Tara Nashville Flowers // Glasses: Bonlook Keiko frames - similar ones here // Necklace & wedding ring: BMM

Due to the weather being freezing cold my outfit choices consist of wearing tights and cardigans with everything! I love swing dresses and this diner version from Campbell Crafts is easily a favourite of mine. Its made from soft cotton, pulls in the waist just right and overall fits like a glove. I went for my current sizing of UK 14 which was spot on. I teamed it with a cropped cardigan (full review of these here), tights, ankle boots, hair flower for added colour and finished with a brooch to complete the look.

Whats the weather like where you are? I know my best friend in SoCal doesn't really have Winter weather! Haha!

  1. I am sorry to hear about your stressful problem and very much hope that you will soon be able to relocate.

I love your swing dresses and hope that you were not too cold during that photoshoot. Have you ever considered buying some vintage style swing trousers for the colder months - I wear trousers quite a lot during winter and they help keep me warm
